I'm very happy to announce the release of Dissectologists, a new duo album with Sandy Ewen! Dissectolgists is available on limited-edition cassette and digital download from Sedimental Records.
Sandy and I recorded Dissectologists in bits and pieces between 2019 and 2025, getting together a few times in different cities to work on the album tracks. We both play guitar on each track, and the album also includes layers of digitally synthesized and spectrally-processed drones (mostly created with CSound and Mammut).
It's been a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with an old friend and bandmate, and Sandy and I are also planning a few performances for late July, 2026. Extra-special thanks to Rob Forman at Sedimental for releasing these recordings, Sarah Hennies for her help in getting the mixes just right, and A. F. Jones at Laminal Audio for his great ears and usual spectacular mastering job.
